LeBron James Puts on a Historic Performance, Scores 35 Points and Grabs 15 Rebounds
Cleveland, OH - LeBron James continued his dominance in the Eastern Conference Finals, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 87-79 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 7 on Sunday night.
James, who is now 8-0 in Game 7s, put on a historic performance, scoring 35 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. He also dished out nine assists and had two steals.
The Celtics were led by Kyrie Irving, who scored 24 points. However, Irving shot just 9-of-24 from the field and was 0-for-7 from three-point range.
With the win, the Cavaliers advanced to the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive year. They will face the Golden State Warriors, who defeated the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Thursday night in Oakland, California.
