The Jasper Highlands Volunteer Fire Department (JHVFD) is a group of dedicated volunteers committed to providing fire suppression and other emergency services to the Jasper Highlands community. Formed in 2016, the department has grown to become an integral part of the area's safety network.

Origins and Formation
The JHVFD was established after the Foster Falls Volunteer Fire Department ceased operations. Recognizing the need for continued fire and emergency services in the area, community members came together to form the new department.

The JHVFD covers the Jasper Highlands community, located on the Cumberland Plateau in Marion County. The department's headquarters is strategically situated to provide prompt response times to all residents within its coverage area.
Recent Achievements
Assistance to Firefighters Grant
In recognition of its dedication to the community, the JHVFD was recently awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant. This grant will enable the department to purchase vital equipment and enhance its service capabilities.
