Motorcycle Licence Requirements

A1 Licence

To obtain an A1 licence, you must possess a valid driving licence provisional category A, a CBT certificate, and a valid MOT.

A2 Licence

For an A2 licence, you will require a CBT Motorcycle Theory Test and completion of training and Modules 1 and 2.

Full A Licence

To qualify for an A1 licence, you must have a current CBT certificate and pass both the motorcycle theory test and a two-part practical test.

Licences Issued Before 19 January 2013
